About Me May 15, 2008

You want to know about me?  Well, I’m a young mother of two beautiful children: Aria (4) and Liam (2).  I’m 26 and I’ve been married 8 years (yes, I got married rather young!).  My husband and I are making a life for ourselves in South Carolina.  We are remodeling an old house on 8 acres, so that we can dable in a little country life.  We hope to have egg-laying chickens, a vegetable garden, a dairy cow – you know just like normal people (ha!).  I am homeschooling, the Waldorf way, starting our first year of Kindergarten with Enki Education’s Kindergarten resources.

I’m very blessed to have had the opportunity to run this family business with my parents.  I love fashion, love pregnancy, and love working with my mom!  Thank-you for taking the time to check out my blog.  I hope it will be interesting, helpful, and enjoyable for you.  Please send me your questions by email. I love to hear from readers!  Of course, we never share private information, including email addresses, with anyone else.

P.S.  That’s me below, pregnant with Liam!

    Hi there,
I came across your blog because was doing a search on Desitin risks. I actually added your site to my blog today in a quick article I wrote. You can check it out on my T.O.L section ( Thinking out Loud) It’s the only section I update daily..the rest are weekly. I love the tone of your blog..and will certainly be reading it more. If you read my about explains things in a nut shell. Thanks for speaking your mind. It’s always nice meet another mom who wants the best..inside and out..for their children.

I love your blog and wish we had a chance to meet when I lived in NC! I am also a young mom…well, it doesn’t feel that way, but I’m 30 and have an almost 6 year old and 3 year old 🙂 We are Christians and also homeschooling the Waldorf way. I would LOVE to know where you get your fairytales that you tell to Aria. Do you have a curriculum that has a list or do you look them up online or read them from a book? just curious 🙂 thanks!
